Beef
Do you raise Angus beef?
Calves are born to our Holstein dairy cows and have a beef sire (typically Angus or Hereford.)
Are your animals grass-fed?
The majority of our beef animals’ diet is grass (fresh or hay)! Daily diet is supplemented by a corn-grain-mineral mix.
Do your animals live in a pasture?
From May to early November, older beef animals are turned out to pasture. For the rest of the year, it is cozier inside the barn than outside.
Is your beef organic?
No. The strict rules to qualify as “organic” would prevent us from taking some measures we see as helpful, such as occasionally administering antibiotics to address specific short-term health conditions.

Chevre Goat Cheese
Autumn Ridge Goat Farm owner Windy Klossner loves that she can manage every step of the process in producing delicious, high-quality goat milk cheeses utilizing local ingredients.
“We milk the goats, rear the babies, grow and harvest our crops from our cropland, develop our own recipes, write and manage our food safety plan, and hand make every batch of cheese utilizing fresh milk from only our herd of Sanaan and Nubian goats. The reward is watching our customers enjoy our products!”

Soaps & Lotion
"Wabash Soaps" are made by Amy Horning of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She uses fresh cow milk from her dairy, as well as olive, canola, coconut, and castor oils.
The soap is cold processed, lightly scented and cured for 4 weeks. It is great for dry skin but is good for any skin type. As Amy says, "It has been a life saver for my hands over the winter. They used to get very cracked and sore, but with the homemade soap, I don’t have that trouble anymore." Amy can be contacted at [email protected] "Autumn Ridge Goat Milk Lotion" uses fresh goats' milk from their farm to create a variety of scented lotions. Fragrances may include Black Raspberry Vanilla, Oatmeal & Honey, as well as seasonal scents. Check store for current selection.
